Please review these terms before reserving a dumpster. They explain payment, loading, prohibited materials, weight limits, property access and the responsibilities connected with delivery, use and pickup.

By reserving and using a Dump Day dumpster trailer, the customer agrees to follow all loading, safety, payment and material rules. These policies help us protect customers, property, equipment and everyone traveling near the loaded trailer.

Important Loading Rules

The following rules apply to every standard dumpster rental unless Dump Day gives written approval for a specific material or situation.

Prohibited Materials

• Paint, chemicals, liquids, solvents or pressurized containers
• Automotive or household batteries
• Tires
• Refrigerators, freezers or items containing Freon
• Equipment containing gas, oil or other fluids
• Asbestos, medical waste or hazardous materials

Heavy Materials Require Approval

• Concrete
• Dirt, soil or sand
• Brick or block
• Rock, gravel or stone

Placing these materials in the dumpster without approval may result in removal charges, additional hauling fees or refusal of pickup until the material is removed.

Weight & Safe Transport

• All debris must remain level with or below the top of the trailer.
• Nothing may stick out from the top, sides, rear door or front.
• Customers remain responsible for overweight charges even when the final weight was not known while loading.
• Dump Day may refuse to transport a load that appears unsafe or exceeds the trailer’s legal capacity.

Booking and Payment Policies

Rental Policies & Payment

These policies explain when payment is due, how rental time is calculated and what happens when a delivery, pickup or rental arrangement changes.

Payment & Reservation

• Payment is due in full on or before the scheduled delivery date.
• A valid payment method may be required to secure the reservation and remain on file during the rental.
• The reservation is not complete until Dump Day confirms the date, size, location and quoted price.
• Quoted prices are based on the information provided by the customer before delivery.

Rental Period & Extra Days

• The rental period begins when the dumpster is delivered.
• Pickup dates are scheduled based on the agreed rental period and route availability.
• Additional rental days are billed at the current daily rate and must be approved before the scheduled pickup.
• Keeping the dumpster past the agreed pickup date may result in additional charges.

Changes, Cancellations & Dry Runs

• Schedule changes must be requested as early as possible and are subject to availability.
• A dry-run or trip charge may apply when delivery or pickup cannot be completed because of blocked access, unsafe conditions, incorrect placement information or customer refusal.
• If the dumpster is delivered and kept, the full rental charge applies even when little or no material is loaded.
• A dump-and-return is treated as a new rental unless a different arrangement is approved in writing.

Additional Charges

• Weight above the included allowance is billed at the current prorated overage rate.
• Additional mileage, special handling, prohibited-material removal or extra trips may result in added charges.
• Damage caused by misuse, overloading or unauthorized movement of the trailer may be charged to the customer.
• All added charges are based on the applicable rate in effect when the service is performed.

Important Pricing Note

Website prices and quotes may be updated as disposal fees, fuel, mileage, rental periods and service requirements change. The confirmed quote provided for your reservation controls the price for that job unless the load, materials, weight, location or service details change.

Before Delivery and Pickup

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing safe access, choosing an appropriate placement area and protecting the property before the trailer arrives.

Access, Placement & Property Conditions

• Provide a clear, firm and reasonably level area for delivery and pickup.
• Remove vehicles, gates, low branches, wires, snow, ice and other obstacles from the access route.
• Confirm that the requested placement area is large enough for the truck and trailer to enter, turn and exit safely.
• Obtain any required permits, parking approval, property-owner permission or association approval before delivery.
• Do not move, tow, reposition or allow anyone else to move the dumpster trailer.
• Keep children, pets and unauthorized persons away from the trailer and delivery area.
• Notify Dump Day about soft ground, hidden drains, septic systems, sprinkler lines, low-clearance areas or other site concerns.
• Ensure the trailer is accessible on the scheduled pickup date and that doors, gates or locks do not prevent removal.

Property protection begins with proper placement.

Dump Day uses rubber-wheeled dumpster trailers designed for residential placement, but no driveway, lawn or paved surface can be guaranteed against marks, cracks, sinking or other damage. The customer accepts the placement location and is responsible for identifying weak, restricted or hidden areas before delivery.

Final Rental Policies

Pickup, Damage & Liability

These final policies explain customer responsibilities at pickup, trailer misuse, property conditions and situations that may require additional service or charges.

Pickup Readiness

• The dumpster must be accessible on the scheduled pickup date.
• Vehicles, locked gates, snow, ice, debris and other obstacles must be removed before arrival.
• The rear door must be closed and secured, and no material may extend above or outside the trailer.
• Failed pickup attempts caused by blocked access or an unsafe load may result in a trip charge and additional rental days.

Trailer Use & Damage

• Do not move, tow, jack up, climb on or modify the dumpster trailer.
• Do not use heavy equipment to push, compact or force debris into the trailer.
• Damage caused by misuse, fire, chemicals, overloading or unauthorized movement may be billed to the customer.
• The customer is responsible for the trailer while it is located at the approved property or job site.

Property & Site Conditions

• The customer chooses and approves the final placement location.
• Dump Day is not responsible for pre-existing cracks, weak pavement, soft ground, hidden utilities or underground systems.
• Weather, saturated soil, snow and changing ground conditions may make delivery or pickup unsafe.
• Dump Day may delay, relocate or refuse placement when the requested area cannot be used safely.

Service Refusal & Removal

• Dump Day may refuse delivery, pickup or transport when conditions appear unsafe or unlawful.
• Prohibited, hazardous or undisclosed materials may have to be removed before pickup.
• Extra labor, disposal, handling, mileage or return-trip charges may apply when the original service terms change.
• Loads exceeding trailer capacity or legal hauling limits may require unloading, redistribution or an additional rental.

Customer Acceptance

Agreement to These Terms

Reserving, accepting delivery of or using a Dump Day dumpster confirms that the customer has reviewed and accepted the terms listed on this page.

By Booking, the Customer Agrees To:

• Provide accurate information about the project, materials, location and expected weight.
• Follow all loading, access, safety and prohibited-material requirements.
• Pay the confirmed rental price and any valid additional charges caused by changes, overages or misuse.
• Contact Dump Day before making changes to the load, rental period, pickup date or placement location.
• Accept that safety and legal hauling requirements may override the requested schedule or pickup arrangement.

Questions should be resolved before delivery.

Contact Dump Day before loading any material you are uncertain about. Approval should be obtained in writing whenever the material, weight, access conditions or project details differ from the original quote.
